An open booking gateway between patients, practices, and AI assistants.

openTeladoc, at anyclinic.org, is a free, open directory of US healthcare providers built on the NPPES public registry, paired with appointment booking through the AI assistants people already use. Patients ask ChatGPT or Claude for the care they need; the assistant searches real providers by specialty and location, checks live availability at participating practices, and books — only after the patient explicitly confirms.

The practices and health systems that join are the heart of the service. When an institution claims its providers, its name, branding, and booking policies travel with every search result and confirmation a patient sees, and appointments land directly in the practice's own scheduling system. Unclaimed providers still appear in the open directory with public contact details, so patients can always call.

Safety is structural, not aspirational: the booking flow screens for emergency symptoms and redirects to 911, an assistant can never confirm an appointment without the patient's explicit approval, and access is gated by scoped OAuth permissions, so an agent gets the least access it needs.
